PROFILE

After successfully being chosen to support Primrose Hill Primary School using our Executive Search & Selection Campaign to appoint a new headteacher, Candidate is Key began working closely with the governors to design a process that would attract a highly experienced candidate.

APPROACH

After a briefing meeting to draft an advert, review and update the job description and person specification and create a recruitment brochure while engaging Camden Learning, the campaign began.

We ran two campaigns to find the right candidate due to the impact of the Coronavirus.  In total, we proactively contacted more than 180 candidates as either a source of information able to recommend suitable applicants or as a potential candidate themselves, for the post.  The totals for the two rounds were are as follows:

•    23 applications sifted

•    14 prospective candidate school visits

•       8 candidates shortlisted

•       1 candidate appointed
